The Viking ceremony wand certainly carries a presence. Made with Yew, it celebrates the cycles of life and honouring ancestors that have gone before us. It features a large clear Quartz point and a stunning piece of raw Malachite set into handsculpted clay. This wand is adorned with spiraling details of branches and leaves, and has an aged finish.
On the handle is the Eihwaz rune, this rune is associated with Ygrassil, the sacred tree which connects the 9 worlds that make up the cosmos in old Norse mythology.
Eihwaz symbolises strength, endurance, transformation and rebirth, divine protection and movement.
I had a dream during the creation of this wand, where a number of spirits were wandering. A large man from the past sat at a giant oak table. I asked him what needed to be done about these spirits and he replied 'Take them to Odin'.
Aside from the message that this wand carries Viking influences, I assume from this dream that this wand may be useful for Psychopomp work (guiding souls to cross over)
